I once had a DNR binge that came to nearly £300, the guy working there phoned me as soon as he saw the order and said he would personally deliver them to my house that same night :Q:

I've never been to the store actually, getting the 119 into Croydon is too much effort

I swear I've read the exact same conversation about a year ago already. possibly with different people though.

Its not that much of a mish to get to. 10-15 min walk from East Croydon station just need maps on ya phone.

And yeah swear ive said this a few times but they didnt have a great deal of selection to flick thru yourself. Mainly bassline/garage/cheaper or sale bits as its a v.small shop all the rarer grime/dubstep etc is behind the counter in shelves you have to ask the guy to pick you out some bits. Worth going with a few items scoped out b4hand online

Was worth going there tho cus: the guys are safe and know their stuff & can easily sort you deals/reccomendations based off what youre after, saves postage, & theyve got a weighty little speaker setup in there! Swear when i was listening to Snake Charmer in there i was feeling some nostril tingle>>>

Basically big up DNR haha spent too much $$$ there, me & my mates were thinking of booking the guy in there for a set one day as the free mix CDs he dishes out are fiyah

Yeah the guys there are safe. Only made the mission there once but it was worth it. Some gems hidden in the sea of dodgy white labels

Rarekind Rekords in Brighton mate.

Honestly the sickest record shop ive been in, just as good brand new selection as any of the SOHO big boys but with none of the pretentious staff, lower prices & thousands of diggable material and 2nd hand goodies (esp if youre into hip/hop, world, soul, roots or jungle)

& you get mad deals if you buy more than 1 thing, had 10-15 quid knocked off regularly when getting 5-6 bits :D

was in BM the other day and realised how pointless it is to go into a record shop without any crates to dig through.

i spent myself into late rent and hunger with these vinyl last month:

Kode9 - Memories of the Future
Mala - Noches Suenos (Mala & Simbad Super Dub)
Mala / Coki - Sinners / Goblin by Johnny Clark
Mala - Como Como (Theo Parrish Remix)
Mala - Changes / Forgive
Rhythm & Sound w/ Love Joy - Best Friend (12" Edition)
Digital Mystikz - 2 Much Chat / Coral Reef
Mala - Stand Against War / Maintain Thru Madness (one of my all time favorites)

Mostly from Norman Records and a couple from Boomkat and Red Eye.

And that my fellow Homo Erecti are all the records i've ever purchased or own. The real bummer is i'm saving for a record player so i can actually listen. ohhhhh that hurts.
