It makes quite good sense that both men and women don't tend to take direction from their children, or people of their children's age, which makes working in a managerial role difficult. I think that at least this case specifically could have been lighter than you've taken it.

You keep insisting that it's sex, but there's no proof as of yet. I feel like you would've said the same thing if they had said that they'd received a better applicant.
Who got the job in the end? How many other women applied? How many men applied?

I told you a guy younger than myself at the time got the job…so it wasn't age.

See - you can be his son and do it - but not his daughter.


Daughters should be worried about other things.

Like getting their hair done…cough etc.

I find myself - to this day…reverting down in age to placate peoples ego problems…
Even with people much younger than myself.

anyway, imo women and men are inherently not equal and i think we should celebrate our differences not try and homogenise the genders.
