What's going down in Berlin?

Post by KoalaBlu » Fri Jun 27, 2014 10:06 am

Me and some friends are spending the next week in Berlin, and are interested in checking out some of the nightlife. There is of course a lot of great spots for techno, but we wondered if there is any good places to catch some other types of music as well, such as more UK related stuff (dubstep, garage, grime etc.)? If anyone is known around Berlin and feels like providing some tips for good places to check out, it would be most welcome!

Cheers! :Q:

PS: Sorry if this is not the right place to post this!

check this event out, it's tomorrow:
http://www.badehaus-berlin.com/details/ ... tbass.html

some clubs that host reggae events are cassiopeia, bohannon, lauschangriff, kili.

and they didn't shut down yaam, they just moved it about 100 metres ;)

have fun in berlin!

I'm in Berlin from 2nd July Wednesday till the following Saturday with my friend from Hamburg. He's into hiphop massively but despite having never really heard any of the sound system genres, I'm confident that he would like it. Anyone got any recommendations for nights out with a good sound system and music? I know the Berghain is big in techno but I'd prefer to steer towards bass genres. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Edit. Cassiopeia sounds good for a Thursday night (reggae + hiphop). Good soundsystem?

oh man, how could i forget SUBLAND? ridiculous club, it's like a tiny cellar with one of the nastiest rigs in berlin. and the club "gretchen" is great for bass music too.
