Never understood how people could like giridon or baseball. way too slow for my taste. also I think the over-commercialisation of american sports, with ads absolutely everywhere and ad breaks every two minutes, is really off-putting. don't understand why one would think it's acceptable to get ads on a ppv channel in the first place. And you hit the nail on the head with 'American' sports; unfortunately its also why we get such terrible coverage of sports like soccer. Almost no U.S network is willing to play a game where you can't jam a series of commercials into every 3 minutes.

It makes me cringe that a lot of people's favorite part of the Super Bowl is the commercials. Its like the summation of American consumerism all wrapped up in a easily edible meal from McDonalds; drive-through entertainment. Its like the EDM of sport haha, fully unbearable.

Although, at least we don't have ads on our jerseys (or at least "Barclays" isn't the largest word on the jersey)
