Gotta go see it.
I really wouldn't bother tbh.
Wuuuuuut?

Just saw it today and thought it was great.

Throughout the entire film I had a mounting feeling of dread, even as the group moved toward the front of the train. Having a film elicit that kind of response in me already puts it above anything else I've seen this year.

My only problem with the movie was the lack of subtlety and perhaps a lack of character development in a few cases. But considering it is an action/sci-fi film I can see how issues with incorporating these aspects might arise.

If only other action/sci-fi flicks were this good. :4:

I really liked how Snowpiercer was just packed with the most obvious film references ever.
Had a good laugh and was well entertained.

Monuments men. Everything as shit as everyone's saying it is. One of the biggest big cast making a quick buck movies I've seen for years.

Couple of decent Netflix picks:

Image

Mortified Nation (2013)

People get up on stage and read embarrassing excerpts from their teenage diaries. Really fucking entertaining at times and very affirming in a sort of "You mean, EVERYONE thought that?" sort of way.

Image

Camp 14 : Total Control Zone (2012)

Pretty in depth interviews with 3 North Korean defectors (one inmate and two guards/officers). Utterly compelling but incredibly hard to watch at the same time.
