I'd say whenever it comes to dubstep or something processing-heavy I spend at least a week on it, if I can stay motivated enough to finish it, sometimes songs just just turn into practice tracks which I'll just play around with, but if it's something like hiphop/trap or ambient I can usually finish in about 3 days, cause most of the time I sample instead of designing my own sounds, whereas I spend hours fking with synths when it comes to dubstep, usually still sounds shit in the end aswell lol fml
