At least Torres doesn't shoot his mouth off constantly to the press

True, still Lukaku is just one example of many. We hate players who aren't big named or established.

Especially Jose  unfortunately he doesn't like developing or giving a chance to the youth players. He likes players already estanlished. :(

Loooooool

Lukaku was shaping up to be a top 10 striker in the world. Chelsea's attitude boggles me, theyre in a financial position where they dont HAVE to sell if a good offer comes around (unlike say Everton & Rooney ott mi head) & have been looking for a long-term solution up front post-Drog... Youd think Lukaku would be ideal.

Only 28 mill too, another 1/2 seasons of that form and i could see Real/City/PSG dumping 50+ for him

yep muncey and johoosh on the money really.
Sell the new drogba and buy back the old one (???)

If Costa settles immediately and goes on to put away 25 league goals, Chelsea are probably favourites for the title
BUT Costa has every chance of not acclimatizing to the prem is his first season, it happens to a lot of people, and in which case Lukaku would have been the perfect, prem-proven deputy. madness really

This.. but not only this imagine an injury! If he gets injured you have to rule us out of winning the prem. If we can win with 36 year old Drogba and a 3 legged horse give Jose copious gold stars but that ain't happening.

I'm tempted, begrudgingly, to tip Arsenal to finish above us this season. Squads looking solid.

People talking up Arsenal too much, as it stands Sanchez is the only difference from last season

If Giroud gets a knock tho we are stuck with Sanogo or playing Walcott or Sanchez down the middle, which isnt ideal.

plus a fit squad
diaby walcott oxlade ozil ramsey etc.
it's important that afc sort out the susceptibility of players to injury

I rate Walcott upfront, reckon he should have left Arsenal a long time ago to play for a lower club down the middle.. had potential. Sanogo/Walcott isn't as bad as 36 yr old Drog and Torres as a backup

Wenger has just come out in a press conference saying Campbell is part of his plans, and will play against benefica on saturday. also quintero thing looks to be bullshit, but he said last 2 weeks of transfer window should be busy (i imagine and hope it will be the new CB and DMF everyone is expecting).

Think a healthy squad will make a big difference for afc this season tbf
