If Giroud gets a knock tho we are stuck with Sanogo or playing Walcott or Sanchez down the middle, which isnt ideal.
I rate Walcott upfront, reckon he should have left Arsenal a long time ago to play for a lower club down the middle.. had potential. Sanogo/Walcott isn't as bad as 36 yr old Drog and Torres as a backup
Completely forgot about Podolski.

Not the quickest anymore but rate him as a finisher over Walcott

decent. hope he can kick on and do a job as sub this year, 10 league goals would be sick. Good match, v promising campbell played real well, looked decent out wide

Don't like to single players out but the 2 areas in the Arsenal team that need upgrades are glaringly obvious

Also Lampard to City is a bit...weird ? It almost feels like mINd gAmEs but maybe that's my paranoia built up from years of drug abuse.

It definitely is. City have tried to buy an 'old respected club guy' a couple of times now - to bring some credibility to the farcical nature of thier club. Examples could be: Vieira, Pizzaro, Maicon.
Demichelis has been the only one that made any sence, but I feel that's more about a personal relation with the coach (since back in argentina in newells i think).

But with that being said, it does makes sence for Lampard because the us tournament starts at later date. David Villa has a similar deal going but he's in australia for a bit.

Is it?

I think it's looking ok with Debouchy and Campbell. Is it still the dm you are worried about?
Maybe another central defender for when Vermailen gets injured/leaves would be good..

a lot of hype about William Carvalho today to arsenal. would be my number 1 realistic signing right now, id be happy to sit back after that.

however, even though he is even trending on twitter right now, it first came today from a spurious, not cited article, now everyone is reporting it from each other, meaning theres like 15 stories but everyone "forgot" to establish any source at all.
standard transfer nonsense obviously but its still funny/ interesting. so much interest in this kind of news, potential ad-revenue from clicks etc. that even relatively respected sources will bend over backwards to have their say, even if they have nothing to say
