Application to change key signature of midi?
Are there any DAWs or even possible standalone applications for processing midi files to change the key signature?
I can change key signature notation in Tuxguitar, but it only changes notation of the notes enharmonically so its still the same pitch.
I want to change the key of a song so it's tonality is different. I can all the notes up or down so many halfsteps, but not only specific notes to change from major to minor or vice versa.
For example, if the key of the midi file is C major, and I want to change it to C minor, it should move all the E, A, B notes down a halfstep.

Sorry, not trying to be dense, but can't you just move the notes around when you load the MIDI file in your DAW? Or are you looking for the program to do all the theory work for you? Honestly just curious, not trolling. I couldn't do the theory work myself, so... ;p

That skytopia app looked so promising but I get unhandled exceptions and it won't work
fragments, I could do it manually but it would take 5ever. I know the theory to do it but I want something to automate the process so I can try it with a lot of songs and different keys quickly.
edit: Scale in ableton works great! Unfortunately I have Live Lite and can only use 4 instances at a time.
It appears Reaper has a similar effect called JS: IX/MIDI_KeySnap

Found a couple others yesterday but I haven't tried them yet (used to use the Skytopia app).
