On some conversion sites you can choose to only convert only certain sections (so like 00:00:00 - 00:07:45).you tried that?

yeah i did as a matter of fact! didn't manage because of the length. i suppose it's because they always encode the full video no matter how much of it actually you want.

i bet the best way would be to record all outcoming audio and press play on the video but i lack the knowledge and software so i was hoping someone else could do it for me lol

Yeah that would probably work, I'd do it but I'm on my phone though, but if you have audacity you should be able to record it, you just need a two ended 3.5mm cable and then put one end in the headphone socket and one in the mic socket

I don't have audacity on my computer atm, but you can download it and record any audio that is playing on your computer.

Mostly because a lot of old consoles did not have pan pots like we are used to today.
So you would mix 'left center right' as they call it. It's still pretty common to do it these days though.

Stereo in general is only about 80 years old you know There was some form of 2 channel audio developed in +/- 1880, but nothing like the pioneering work of Blumlein 40-50 years later.
