HDBCD002 - BURIAL - 'Untrue' - NEW ALBUM - NOVEMBER 5TH
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

bold indeed, but not without precedent... rob fitzpatrick's review of the debut album in word magazine was probably the first to make the MA connect (and my boy rob would probably want 'daydreaming' played at his wake), while Q came with "the dubstep answer to blue lines" in their 2006 top 100 albums list. elsewhere, other reviews were ripe with references to tricky and the rest of the left-country millieu... anyway, the past is another country...Baron_von_Carlton wrote:Now that is an immensely bold statementGrievous Angel wrote:blue lines for the 21st century.![]()
