Pulsewaves4stopsines - Night Walks [ambient, sorta lo-fi]
I'm really just trying to get stuff out of my system, music-wise, so let me know what you think.
Oh, please let me know if it's too noisy, or samples are too loud. I have a less-than-ideal setup right now (mixing on new headphones, not able to set up my monitors, etc.)
I'm afraid there might be too much noise layered, especially in the low end. I don't trust my new headphones yet.

oh this is cool. its like ambient styled. Really cool. Train doesnt have to be that loud. you could also turn your synth chords up a little.

Whoa, you're right about that train. I checked my DAW, and realized I forgot to activate an amplifier plugin that has the gain down to where it should be. Oops! Thanks for the heads up on that.

haha no problem.
Re: Pulsewaves4stopsines - Night Walks [ambient, sorta lo-fi
i think the focal point should be the synths so make them louder and the noise a bit quiter. Maybe eq the synth to sound a bit brighter?

lush chords, for the most part, i did hear one get out of key, but im sure youll fix that, love the atmosphere, trains and such. great concept, maybe eq out the low end of the train at like 200 hz. other than that, good job homie

I recorded the chords, then threw them into a sampler, then didn't even bother with midi. I figured some parts wouldn't really fit in the key, but I also did want to play out of key for a little bit towards the end. I was planning to take another look at that though and see what I find. Maybe using some other chords would help with this? I'd just use a midi sequencer with the synth, but for some reason my shitty laptop hates it when I do that and loves to bug out/programs crash, etc. I want my old computer backCRoW_Dubstep wrote:lush chords, for the most part, i did hear one get out of key, but im sure youll fix that, love the atmosphere, trains and such. great concept, maybe eq out the low end of the train at like 200 hz. other than that, good job homie
