CS:GO is really fucking good imo

Source is even worse. Everything has gone Call of Duty since that.
The movement capabilities in the HL engine made the game imo.

1.6 is heaven at the moment. No one talks shit, no one is hacking, everyone is a German guy that
has been playing for 7> years.
If I'd play something running the source engine, it would probably be Insurgency.

They lowered the skillcap drastically imo. If you played a lot of 1.6 you could eventually move faster than others, run silent, shoot faster with awm etc.. That's what made it a real competitive game for me.
All of that stuff is due to a faulty engine and I love everything about it

I see they still kept it quite minimalistic though, except for the map design.
Most of the tactical elements are still in there, with eco rounds etc.. That's good.
Can you still stand on top of other people?

CSS is fun with mods though. Zombie Escape can get really hectic and chaotically fun. Minigames, on the other hand, requires you to have a knowledge of engine exploits and map knowledge to get the upper hand on everyone.
