Re: New Tune looking for some dope feedback
I believe you definitely show ability. However, the mixdown can have much more volume differences between instruments and song sections. Think of it like the quieter you make stuff in the mix, the more room things have to breathe and "burst through the speakers." And also "nothing is loud if everything is loud." these are all tips that have helped me out. but i loved the dark mood and aggression! keep it coming.

Re: New Tune looking for some dope feedback
I say this to everyone, but it's too generic. We've heard this all a thousand times. No matter how dope you make that drop, someones already done it. If you want to wow someone then try and come up with some original material.
But that's advice you shouldn't really take too literally though if it's all just for fun and practice - as far as the song goes though, it's okay. The baseline in the chorus has alot of potential in sounding great, but your mixdown needs abit of work. Not only that, but your intro is way too full, thin it out with some more ambiance, it will make the drop seem alot more heavy.
I'd suggest just researching your ass of in new techniqes on how to make your mix sound better. Come back to this track a month or so in the future when you think you've improved and i guarantee it will be 200x better.

As far as musical ideas, you got very clear potential. More than most actually. But, gotta work on that mastering... you can't just go sidechaining every single layer. Dont worry its a very common mistake, but an easy fix. Look up some mastering tuts on Youtube.

Eh. I feel like I've heard this same drop before. I mean if you want to get into that generic dubstep style that's cool and all but I would try to be a little more original. Need better sound balancing in the intro. Melodies are pretty cool and dark so that's an up. Keep it up this shit is a learning process and it sure isn't easy. Overall I don't think its that bad though
good luck moving forward

Thanks everyone for the feedback!
As if now I'm still new to making tunes. Im terrible at mastering and mixing I definitely need to learn more. Im having a blast making this kinda music though! I know some of you guys say try to be more original but I have no clue what to make of that though. Of course I would like to be more original but I dont really know the meaning I guess... at this rate taking this project to the next level would he awesome so let me know! Thanks everyone again!

Keep practicing. Everyone has their own style, it takes time to find and perfect. It's not something that's achieved overnight, its a slow process which can take years!

Re: New Tune looking for some dope feedback
As everyone has said, you have potential, I think you need to cut that intro in half. It is super repetitive. I lost interest during the intro but i hung in for the drop. Just keep practicing and find yourself in your music.
