Studio monitors for <£200

Post by JamesHanvey » Thu Sep 11, 2014 6:47 pm

Tired of using my earphones, time to move onto some real shit, but before i do, recommend any for below £200 or so? Don't mind stretching abit farther if they're worth it.

thanks :)

For a new pair? Not a lot I'd feel comfortable recommending for that price I'm afraid.

A little more and you could probably find a pair of PreSonus Eris E5 for ~£250...I'm not a fan of KRKs as I feel they colour the sound too much...after that next thing on the list would probably be something like the Equator Audio D5 but they're ~£400 for a pair.

If you're willing to go second hand, you could probably find a pair of Adam A5s if you were prepared to hunt around.

Second-hand is the way to go for that much. Look on craigslist or ebay and listen to them before you hand over any cash
