it's not like there were only stellar tunes around in 2006. the ones still being played were the ones making waves back then and the ones who passed the test of time.
not sure you really get what i'm saying bro, cause that was never my point. it's not so black and white. it just seems to me that people these days are
much less likely to consider tunes to be good tunes. and to me it seems like many people are coming from a place of emotion (nostalgia, desire for false "originality", etc) rather than judging the tunes rationally.
and on the converse, people give old tunes waaaaaayyyyy more props than they deserve. like just cause they're old they are automatically better than they would be if they were released now. music should be judged purely on quality, not on context, in my opinion.

Baddis calling it generic has been the only comment on the actual music in the past 2 pages lol. Everything else has been relentless systematic comparisons to other music by Kaiju, other Medi, other dubstep. (I know I'm guilty of joining in)

It was just rumoured because it was on Malas Essential Mix.. it could still be forthcoming Medi though as it wouldn't be unlike Medi to hold a couple details about forthcoming material back. Could also be on the forthcoming album on System.
Also because Mala is the ONLY person other than LAS to have a copy

Better than paying £28 for the Passion for Vinyl book which had that tune as an extra 7".
Not sure how I feel about the 7 inch series, as long as its orientated at more listening tunes thats great.. and I assume that'll be the case.. imagine some Goth Trad tear out on one though lol. Mixing with 7" is a mission.

Yeah, bit of a joke, especially as I'm guessing that a fair few of these are gonna be pressed. Probably won't grab.

yeah, im not gonna get it, one 2nd rate mala tune for £7 is a bit much for me tbh. They'll probably press 1000 and it'll cost em £1 a 7" or something silly

Yeah i guess it's more for listening than mixing. Wonder if we'll see Spongebob on 7"

That comment always annoys me when talking about dubstep. It's a genre of dance music, specifically targeted towards a room with big speakers where you dance. It's all the same bpm, not just to give it identity, but to make it sound better when mixed in the dance. Putting it on a 7" and saying "listen to it don't mix this dance music tune" doesn't make any sense to me...
