Actually from what I hear Indiana is pretty terrible. Really intolerant place.

Used to have the highest concentration of KKK members. Not sure if that is still the case.

Could be much, much worse though imo. Indiana has some decent areas from what I've heard. Chicago suburbs, Gary, Indianapolis, Indiana University.

As least it's not Mississippi!

IU's pretty bad from what I heard, a friend who goes there has a roommate who's been raped a couple of times and the police do fuck all.
Head the drug scene there is pretty wild though, a friend of hers got caught with 16 tabs of acid and other shit and didn't even get a fine.

fair enough. many parts of baltimore are really nice and fun places though! you just gotta know which neighborhoods to not walk through or close your windows if you drive through.
