surely with the wages comes a responsibility to not act in a way that's detrimental to your ability to do your job?

I heard he had a younger brother or cousin that died when
he was a kid, and that goes some way to explain his "I don't
give a fuck" attitude. Life is to live and all that kind of thing.

My personal favourite is that he turned up to an Inter training
session in a Milan shirt... The guy is either nuts or he has huge
cajones.

speaking of his dealings with Inter - just turning up randomly
when the new manager was announced in their press conference
this year - and then being set up by Italian TV with the person faking
an injury in the car park - which he actually helped rather than walk
away from - ruining the TV show trying to set him up without knowing it.

I do agree with that, but if I'm going to play devil's advocate, I'd argue that the problem comes way before 21 year olds are getting truckloads of money thrown at them.

If I was told at the age of 11 I could be a premier league footballer I probably would have just played football instead of going to school. Then when I got the money thrown at me, I would have been too thick to know how to do anything apart from act a complete moron with it.

I'm not saying this is the case with all footballers (with the case of Balotelli, I'd hazard a guess at some kind of personality disorder or some other kind of mental disability - obviously I have no basis in that internet diagnosis but there we go), but I do think it goes some way towards explaining the perception that many footballers are stupid.

Balotelli worked his ass off this year at the UEFA Euro 2012. Great player. All of Italia still had dedication even after 4 goals I guess. Great team still. I guess the Spanish badmen will reign supreme for a while!

I think the clubs have a responsibility to the players and especially the youth teams. The majority of players at academys won't make it and clubs need to ensure that kids receive a proper formal academic education and should make it a prerequisite for attendance at the club. They also need to ensure that they prepare the kids for the type of exposure they will get and the type of money they can earn.

Hahaaaaaaaa I don't post much overhere. But this had to be done.

Man is a joke, can't play soccer that good as he wishes ! ::-)

Take Origi, Belgium player, finds the way to the goal much easier and that's what counts for player like them.
Appreciate his jokes though and like him, but and that's very good for him, he earns wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much money. :-) :corntard:

oh and tbf

Origi looks like a really promising young player but in that sence balotelli looked like a complete otherworldly monster when he was a younger player..

he hasn't lived up to that ofcourse, but nobody can argue his potential and forwards
especially box forwards, usually develope later on and peak around 28 compared with most other positions at around 25

You could argue the same about Welbeck-prolific for country but shit ina United shirt but chips in with effort and endevaour-whereas I prefer strikers to actually score.
