Hahaha, that's hilarious. Guys, have you played with the bright noise and feedback ? Maybe that's what you guys are missing. And sure, you can post the patch. It's not like I made the original sound.

Its not really the 0:56 sound its more the second sound he used which is the same patch just modulated a little. I didn't want to spend too much time on it but skrillex must of resampled it and messed with the pitches or added a vocoder to it. Tons of processing idead I can think of.

I've just realized that I've got that sound in one of my remixes that I'm working on atm. It's a distorted and compressed square with a filter and a fairly high ressonance (I used a double notch). The trick is to modulate the cutoff and the ressonance depending on the notes you play, so you'll find the sweetspot for that gritty distortion... http://clyp.it/dt2zwtol

That's pretty close actually, all you need to do now is to give it more vowel movement!
