Greetings Dubstep Forum
I've always wondered where to find classic dubstep samples, like those used by the likes of Digital Mystikz, Loefah, Gantz, etc. but have never been able to source any. The kind of flat-sounding, unassuming snare that you found in early dubstep. Does anyone know where I could possibly locate some, or know how I can feasibly make one myself?
Some examples:

There's some in this free garage pack that sound pretty close, they're mostly loops though (of individual parts, not full drum mixes), but you can slice out the individual hits.

Your best bet might also finding some vinyl drum rips. Back in those days their wasn't sample packs so they either sampled themself off a vinyl record.
