nailed my set opening for distance last night. was on really early so there were only ten people or so listening, but I had a great time nonetheless. Armour - Iron Man into Pinch & Moving Ninja - False Flag got a nice response; DJs who were on after me couldn't resist letting out an "ooomph" when Iron Man dropped. :corndance:
probably one of the better sets I played; was thinking of wub afterwards when I was kicking myself for not having sorted a recording.

Out of curiosity, how did you manage to get that booking? (not in a bad way or anything)

I've been running a night (originally set up for us to be able to play out ourselves) for three years now, so people know me and have a general idea of my selection. sorry for sounding like a twat, but it's not very unusual for me to be opening for foreign acts, I just never get to play dubstep nights - because there are close to none, really, and I'm not very in touch with the "dubstep scene" unfortunately, due to us / our night focusing on dnb so heavily. so being able to do this one got me gassed to the max.
