does that mean, as a non english person, every time i raise my gunfinger in the rave and call for the rewind, i am engaging in an act of fedorism?

You can't be a fedora if you ever think "am I a fedora?"

No self awareness is a key part of fedorism

that's very true, good point

on the other hand though, when i was contemplating on this question myself i sort of came to the conclusion that almost anything (bar for few obvious exceptions) you can pull off naturally so it doesnt seem cringe or forced is original badman

if you rock a 150 dolla HBA shirt (bad example) but just sit in the corner of the club not comfortable in your skin looking all embarrassed and shit, you're portraying a misleading picture of yourself hence you're not true imo

sooo if genuine m'lady fedora guys can pull their steez off with good self esteem they're kinda not fedora in a way

There is no point really. Micros played perfectly will give you a tiny hourly £ over 100s of hours, you can be up a couple hundred quid over a few hours, but check your rate over a couple hundred hours, swings are huge in poker. due to the high rake, at the mid level the quality of players means the chances of you having an edge more than the rake just doesn't exist. only the big games (low % rake) and very good game selection is ever profitable, then you need to be a very good player to not become the fish at the table , atleast as good as the other nosebleed pros to break even against them (mainly just means your paying rake so need to avoid playing too many hands with pros) and be good enough against the high rollers who make dumb mistakes to beat the rake, then you need to be willing to put up with swings of 100s of thousands/millions even when you do nothing wrong, and not go on tilt or have a nervous breakdown.

in other words poker is a waste of time except the 0.01% of players and the poker rooms who are making billions.

2000-2009 you could grind online poker and make good money because of the number of bad players, but now... nah.

Live poker is far more fun.

Hard not to give off bare tells when you first get into it.

i dont plan on playing micros forever lol

not too many fish but plenty of nits who are almost as exploitable

definitely possible to double up everytime you sit down in the micros

variance is a lot less cos ur playing idiots by and large so u can just play abc. earlier today i picked up 44 against villains KK. flop came 458 two tone and despite the fucking wetness of the board and my pretty transparent value bets he was unable to let the kings go

just doing this to build my bankroll can confirm i'll be moving through the stakes as soon as im appropriately bankrolled

no way do you need to be a pro for poker not to be a waste of time lol u just need to find tables with players below ur level. which tbh isnt too hard

the plan is to build a bankroll to withstand variance at a level appropriate to my skill and pocket the winnings as spare cash

will report back in a few months with bank statements
