yeah. but three out of the four new Rabit bits are grime (even if, by your own words, 130 isn't a genre).

surely they can't be talking about logos "no heartbeat"
it's a fuckery danny weed is not mentioned once on that page in the release notes or the tracklist
imagine calling an eski remake of a grime classic "an original cut of forward thinking instrumental grime"
would still love a reply to my critique on Rabit's new plate though.

The clip of Send makes it sound a bit meh but hopefully the full track is a good tune. The rest sounds on point.

lol do u understand how opinions work bro
and are you involved with the label or just personally offended by the 130 suggestion
fuck knows if this 130 thing exists to real ppl outside of forums and blogs but if there is a "130 label" i reckon soundman chronicles would be it (+ keysound)

Yeah, Epochs is closer to dubstep as well.. gets confusing cause people get caught up on the definitions, really 130 doesn't have any definition at all.. it sorta started off just meaning slowed down grime/dubstep iirc cause of tunes like those on the Wen - Commotion EP. I said before I saw the 130 thing as mainly being dark garage but taking influence from other genres.. Wen (grime/dubstep), Beneath (ukf/techno), Etch (Jungle) ect. For me now it sorta represents a particular time within the scene when all these producers emerged.. mostly to do with Keysound but a lot of the Boxed guys also appeared and came through the same time, although they're pretty much strictly instrumental grime I'd definitely associated them with '130' scene.. theres certainly some crossover especially with the more funky stuff.
At the end of the day its a label.. it makes it easier for fans of the music to discuss/share similar stuff (almost 200 pages in this thread proves that) but producers/label owners are naturally gunna reject it because a label by definition boxes them in and sorta ruins the creativity.
