I think thats what makes him interesting --- he's influenced, and also involved, in so many genres of music plus he is a punk by heart.
Thats what makes him push boundaries...

Check his list of influences on his myspace ....

because it came out of a totally different place; i.e. grindcore
which was nothing to do with electronic dance music at all

^^ i totally disagree with u on that one, there's always been a good degree of hugely influencial references and crossover in divergent eras, sounds, "genres" etc. Be it metal, grind, obvious industrial sounds, ebm back in the day, to early acid house, etc.

In return, that's like saying a band like Godflesh, or obvious greats like Killing Joke have nothing to do with dance music.

Like i said, totally disagree.

Still, SCORN.. bad mon.

Napalm Death were ground breaking at first..it was when it became obvious that they were gona flog a dead horse for the next 20 yrs that Harris fucked off and decided to re-define entire genres on his own.Respect.

It slips in well, but you got to be quick with that 3rd record.

honestly, scorn's music doesnt feel terrestrial. so fucking good - the most intense sound played so slow it drives you insane. one of the best releases out there.
