HELSINKI - 17th Oct - APPLEBLIM @ Alas, Redrum

Appleblim's coming ... 17th October, at Club Redrum in Vuorikatu, Helsinki, backed by the usual Alas residents roopek/Rrimöykk, Niclas Kristiansson, and Dead-O. All for €7, including a free beer/cider/soft drink, on a mighty weighty system.

but why on wednesdays? it makes it rather complicated to come overseas and support such events at the middle of the week, not that I wouldn't want to..
no doubt it's going to be heavy.. so everyone to whom wednesday is not an issue, go and enjoy!
my mind is going...there's no question about it...

Redrum is a rather popular venue, as it is a new place armed with a funktion 1 - soundsystem, and there's a limited amount of weekends in a month (or in a year) so it's obvious that not every club can be placed on a friday or a saturday night.

And of course the soundprofile of different events determ a bit where they are placed in the schedule... After all, the place locates in the heart of Helsinki, so I'm guessing it wouldn't be a smart move from the owners to dedicate the place for some "weekend-only" - underground activity... Keeping doors open for everyone. Not saying it's about money and beersales in paticular. I think Redrum is growing it's roots strong & healthy.

...But, even on wednesdays, there's been a proper rave every time! Hundereds of people reaching.

What comes to tonite, it's a skankout! Bigging up the ALAS cru!
