Enjoyable... a little bit style over substance, but it is EXCELLENT style. First series was great... enjoying what I've seen of the second so far too.

I thought it was pretty good tbh... lots of ends to tie up and most of them at this point were historical locks, so it was just about doing them artfully rather than surprising the audience; which they did well IMHO.

I've never loved a television show like I loved Boardwalk. :corncry:
[+] Spoiler
The reveal at the end was a looooong time coming though... my girl called it when he first showed up looking for work. I thought it was the perfect ending though tbh - Nucky's rise starts by using Gillian as a trading piece, he shores up his reign by using her war-damaged kid as a soldier, eventually killing him leaving his child an orphan in the care of a half-faced, homocidal maniac bent on personal annihilation... he fucked up three generations of that family... if anyone gets to pull the trigger, it's a Darmity.

I just love Margaret's journey over the whole series though. Starts out as a battered wife preaching temperance and prohibition and winds up as the last man standing... an independent financial shark with a controlling share in a legal liquor empire. Maybe he did save her afterall.

Yeah, he did seem a bit *too* grown up. 7 years has less impact for a 50 year old than an 8 year old though.

Is it entirely wishful thinking to want a spin off following The Commission through the next few decades? Luciano and Lansky were just hitting their stride!

Dipped back into American Horror Story this week... finished off Asylum (no idea why we ran out of steam on this... I reckon it's the best one so far) and the first few episodes of Coven, which has so far been decent, but not quite on the same level.

Jessica Lange is great.

Watching 'Kenny vs Spenny' at the moment, maybe I'm late to the party but only just discovered it...its strangely enjoyable to see just how much shit Spenny puts up with; im guessing he must have got a real nice salary from that program.
All episodes are on youtube for people who haven't seen. Two guys competing against each other and doing really stupid stuff :4:

Kenny vs Spenny is hilarious, one of the easiest shows to watch ever. The one were they can't touch the floor has to be one of my favourites, when Kenny just starts throwing crabs at him :cornlol:

It's one of my fav shows ever.

btw Kenny made another documentary like show after having been a writer on southpark, it's worth checking out too. Especially the one about about cannibalism.
