I wish, still just a bedroom dj. I mess around with the iMachine app on my phone, making some simplistic livity sound-esque beats. With my very limited theoretical musical knowledge, I doubt I could do anything with any real software/hardware :|

so are you attending any gigs in Sydney?
I'm finding so few bass-oriented nights that I'm considering going to the Spice Cellar.

I've been a bit ill/lazy recently so I missed quite a few (Jay Daniel, Huerco S and Andres to name a few). last bass-oriented one I went to was Beneath & Teeth for Spanner (the combined forces of Low Motion and Heavenly crews) and that was amazing. the previous one too, Kowton & Tessela was good too if your into a lot of techno. they have the right idea, putting on 2 headliners every 2 months, with themselves on support. I'm a huge fan of Preacha in particular. I have never ventured to the Spice Cellar, haven't heard much about it either, but I know some of the Astral Dj's like Preacha and the likes have played there.

I should probs post some house too, grabbed the D.K album recently, enjoying it.

grabbed an old chez damier bit too for the vocal lovers

Most of the house in this thread sounds like techno with pads.

So you haven't heard techno with pads before??

Though, I agree some of the stuff posted here has been techno, electro etc.

Though, tbh house and techno grew up together so there are going to be similarities.

Guess I really missed the difference between the two lol.
Would've thought that was the housyest post in the thread. Just needed some vocal chanting some catchy lyrics in a low pitch with some reverb.
