the hell do you need 100ft of wire for!? would love to make my own flavors though[/quote]

when you make your own atomizer coils, the e cig companies try and sell that shit for like a dollar a foot. found an industrial supply place online that sells it for $5/100 ft. why not? ;-)

Been thinking of buying one for sneaking a few puffs in the toilets or wherever at a party then claiming I'm smoke-free to make good impressions :D

Nah but seriously this sounds like a good idea, tobacco's been an on and off thing for the last few months. Went to 29 cigs in 2 days to sthg like 5 a day unless i'm going out, then I'm chainsmoking like a motherfucker (let's be honest it ruins the whole idea, I WANT PEOPLE TO WITNESS THE EFFORTS I MAKE !!!). I feel like this might be a help.

I wish we had them in Belgium, I quit smoking 7 months ago or so but I miss it the most when working on stuff really. Helped me relax a bit and concentrate.

On a related note, I bought a magic flight launch box last week, used it for the first time yesterday. Levels were very high.

Bumping for the Mouth Fedora crew. What's a decent rechargable starter kit for someone that can't/won't give up the 2 or 3 last rollies per day?

Tried a few 420vape-it options, but not been overly sold by the lack of body high and sucking on plastic bags (anyone want a Volcano at a sensible price before I put it on eBay?)... just invested in a DaVinci Ascent; if that doesn't do it, I think I'm burning fo' life.

The body high thing will be a problem I think it's a function of the CBD and THC vaping at diff temps. I use the Magic Flight Launch Box a mate uses the Iolite, both are alright but neither has made me stop the last 2/3 rollies per day

Yeah, that's what I figured reg CBD/THC.

I'm hoping a more portable one at least replicates some of the ritual of drawing from a spliff and passing it round a little better... I'm certain the plastic bags full of vapor the Volcano made were getting us absolutely fucking baked, but we always fancied a "real" one afterwards and I think it could be as simple as my mind not feeling like it's been through the old ritual.

I reckon I can replace the rollie habit though... as much as anything, I think it's just being in the habit of doing something while I'm walking somewhere. I never crave smoking when I'm sitting at my desk, but as soon as I go for a walk my hands start rolling.

Yeah my missus would laugh when I'd be loading the launch box with a spliff in my hands after ordering the box that would make me give up tobacco completely. I don't smoke cigs at all now though so that's still preferable to where it was.

I think the ritual plays a part, the early e cigs sucked because when you sucked they didn't hit the throat, reckon a good amount of it is psychological but we are what we are.

Wound up giving my vaporiser pen to a friend. Was rubbish. Provided me with around 15 minutes of uncertainty as to whether it had worked or not before coming to the realisation I've just wasted 'erb. Going try using a pipe instead. I would love to try the Volcano but.... moneyysssss :(

I've been using an Arizer Solo for two years now. Most simplest to work of all the portable vapes IMO, less to go wrong (still works fine bar some dodgy LEDs). Cleaning is easy... Not much else you could ask for.

i just bough an arizer for the home, i could see there portable one being good quality too.

magma, when it comes to portables i've always been a fan of the G Pen, but imo its best if you have access to either dabs or oils.

magma you're asking for nicotine replacement right? i would recommend going to a legit "vape store" and getting one there, where you can sit down and maybe try something out and look at all the options and get recommendations etc. most people i know that have been successful at completely quitting smoking have done it that way. i haven't made my way over to one yet due to not wanting to spend the money because i have a blu starter kit which is okay but i'd really like to get a "real" ecig soon. they're only like 30 bucks apparently + juice which is cheap so you're really saving money in the long run.

Trying to replace both tbh... tried the Volcano and now the DaVinci for herb, but I could do with replacing the couple of rollies a day with an ecig, which I reckon I might do a bit easier.

The DaVinci came a couple of days ago and I've had a couple of experiments with it... it's pretty good. Much more like smoking a spliff than using the bags from the Volcano, but it doesn't quite feel like hitting a joint when you inhale. The temp stepping thing is EXCELLENT... you can preset a profile with three stages so it starts low for a few minutes and then steps up at intervals you choose so once it's on, it really is just like having 10 mins with a spliff in your hand. Plenty of vapour production at higher temps too, which is nice and satisfying. Can just about even blow vapour rings.

So far, SO much better than the Volcano. The lady's not entirely convinced yet though...

I'm pretty sure it's just the ritual with the rollies... I never really crave nicotine and I only smoke when I'm walking somewhere or drinking. Just gone for one of the TotallyWicked eGo thingies which gets decent reviews and manages to not look like a fake cigarette or a Sonic Screwdriver, plus they've got fancy flavours. I'll report back after a couple of gos next week...

when you're talking about rollies are you talking about cigs then? just never heard it put that way, even for those that roll their own.

either way i don't care what anyone says, smoking cigs is all about the ritual.. i used to be the same way - smoke on my way to/from work, on breaks, after 2 or 3 beers or after a joint...its all about breaking those habits and finding reason to not smoke. i'll be 6 months smoke free on the fourth :)

if you save all the money you would have spent on smokes in a week, its hilarious how quickly it adds up (which is why i cant justify ecigs either).

i like the volcano bags though, i can cook a meal or do whatever and just keep sucking on it over 10 minutes, rather than having to go over to the vape every time i want a hoot

Ah, yeah... rollies is what we call them if you roll your own over here. Never made friends with real cigarettes.

I love the idea of vapour bags, but honestly huffing on one never failed to make me feel like a glue sniffer!

The human mind is the most frustrating thing known to the human mind.

Like, I know the vapour's cleaner and better, but I'm sitting there feeling like wobbles' avatar.
