I wish there was more good sci fi out there.

You can try Pitch Black, The Abyss, A.I., Contact, Pandorum, Dark City
I guess not all of these are dark...

Snowpiercer isn't in space but its very much dark sci fi, and its goooooood.

I ended up reading a plot synopsis of Interstellar instead of watching it. I'll catch it on cable.

So I went to see Interstellar

It's cool. Visually it's impressive as hell, the sequence on the water planet had me going "woah". It's just too bad the script is all over the place, to the point that it sometimes feels like a draft...
[+] Spoiler
& Matt Damon's in it

Definitely want to see this in the cinema for that reason.

Weird how the spoiler is just readable when you quote something btw.

Saw Nightcrawler with my dad at the big Cineworld last night

pretty fucking cool film. Jake Gyllenhaals's really good in it. It's shot a bit like an adam sandler comedy or something, which I was a bit iffy on, but I guess it kinda is a comedy.

Who Is Dayani Cristal?

The body of an unidentified immigrant is found in the Arizona Desert. In an attempt to retrace his path and discover his story, director Marc Silver and Gael Garcia Bernal embed themselves among migrant travelers on their own mission to cross the border, providing rare insight into the human stories which are so often ignored in the immigration debate.

Just watched this with my fiancee, really quite emotionally heavy going in places but well worth watching, particularly poignant considering how close this is to where I'm now living and having crossed the border myself several times (albeit legally) and also for my fiancee Erika who has family on both sides of the wall

Would defintely recommend

Guardians of the Galaxy

It's like a parody of an over the top blockbuster. Very little character depth which
made the story uninteresting to me.

Horns. one of the worse films Ive seen. more holes than plot. no explanation just take it as granted he has horns therefore: heaven exists our god is real fuck the muslims. I may have read into it wrong but theres no artistic merit to this film othern than a desire for strengthening the belief of the audience in theology particularly the monotheistic stance of christianity. and like lots of things christian theres no real good explanation and lots of the happenings is put down to belief and magic and kissy kissy heaven where you'll be with your ex.

fuck this film if you watch it your cat will get aids and whoopi goldberg will rape your mother. Im serious.
