Re: Christmas Cheer Thread
in norway we eat "Ribbe" for christmas, which is pork prepared a certain damn delicious way. It gets this armadillo-like hard, red crust on the outside. You eat it with potatoes, sauerkraut, a gravy-like sauce and cranberry sauce. It's fucking peengggggg. Maybe they have it in Denmark so hubb will know what I'm talking about.
The best bit is it somehow tastes 2x as leftovers a couple days later.

Turkey is consider an inferior good, why it's cheap as shit all year apart from christmas.CreamLord wrote:Ok, no, stfu, gtfolegend4ry wrote:Turkey is a year long affair.
Turkey > Chicken.
Also loads of negativity in this thread, stop being so joyless you little shits
Chicken is much better, it's just cheaply produced chicken taste like shit.
Buy expensive chicken, and it's really good.
Duck is better, but more expensive than both.
But why listen to me, I'm poor, and mostly eat organs, and cheap cuts of beef. Though high quality organs, and cows.

Re: Christmas Cheer Thread
I think this is a good idea tbh, not done a good old fashioned booze binge since like, February or something. December is a good month to stay drunk toonobody wrote:and drink loads of booze

Tastes much better in a stir fry.

Re: Christmas Cheer Thread
Yes, this. Turkey is superior if cooked right, but cooking it right, especially if you're roasting a whole bird takes a lot more time and care than a chicken. Too easy to dry out.nobody wrote:turkey is amazing, when cooked properly, turkey curry is rad
Leftover turkey curry.
