Oh right I see lol, generally with tunes with awkward snares I tend to mix based on the 1st beat

Some early dubstep tunes have such sick drums but they sound so off beat that I'd be scared to ever mix them (if I had them)

Went to see Alex Coulton, then came to Audio to catch Bok Bok.

Wait, the soundman cut Woman out on purpose to get a rewind?!
Paleman was on last after Bok Bok, it was quite late by my phone by the time he came on but it was an hour earlier cause the clocks went back, i think paleman was on 330-5 on old time so really 230-4, did wonder if he was turning up or not as i wasnt sure if it was open an extra hour. guessing you left right near the end of bok bok's set assuming he was on last.

was kinda anti climatic really, lights came on noone really seemed to know the tune and the soundman cut it off half way through which was kinda annoying

how was coulton? was gutted the nights clashed, all of my mates wanted to go audio so just followed the crowd
Ah ok, yeah I left towards the end of Bok Bok's set, I assumed he was on last, and I was pretty mashed. It had been a long night, was at a gig before Alex Coulton as well. Only really went for Bok Bok anyway, so was glad the set times worked out with Coulton. His set was really good aye, played a two hour set so he was able to mix it up quite a bit.

Anyway, back on topic, when you said the soundman cut out Woman, I thought you meant he did it to make Paleman rewind the tune haha, that would have been legendary. That does sound like an anti-climax though, gutted :x

Stop bumping this thread when there's no news at all, the anticipation is killing me :u:

Midnight's pretty much confirmed as well, it's been doin' the rounds in several DJ sets recently, including Loe's.

which sorta makes sense seeing as a feature of those .5 releases has been releases of old tunes

and now this makes more sense

So BH 0.5 is loe ? if it's true we got the date
BH 0.5 and a small repress of the Japan Blues 12" will be out the 10th of December. The 0.5 release will be an HJ and Idle Hands only 12" but the JB one will be in most of the stores.
