Hey guys, finished a new track recently that I'll be giving away on the "Burner Collective Volume X" V.A. and I'd love to get some feedback on this track/master before I send it off! This one's got a root bass-frequency of 28 hertz, pretty heavy sub
If you happen to like my music then be a pal and follow me on Soundcloud, I take the time to check out music from my followers and I have a bunch of new tunes to be uploaded in the new year, oh and some freebies coming soon too

It's alright, sounds a bit dry and hard on my monitors but otherwise not bad. Just ease off the compression (or use more rubbery samples) and make the reverb a bit wetter

Thanks for the feedback test - I'll certainly have a play with softening up the percussive reverb, this version is only two days work so its still a bit salty

did you think the sub level is alright? It was a little hotter in the mix before so I rolled it off very lightly but now I'm not so sure..

Actually, since you mentioned it I'm listening on headphones and just noticed the sub. I was listening yesterday on monitors and didn't think it was too light or too heavy but didn't notice the sub, so I'd say it's fine. Maybe you could up it a little smidgen?

Thanks Numo
I'll have a play with the sub test, think it could do with a tiny boost and perhaps some more width too.

OK I've made the sub sit at -36 with the kick at -30, still a bit of space between them and if need be I can push the sub further to -33..
