If you want to stay with your girlfriend, this is a massive warning. I hope she hasn't got too many other guys sniffing around!
Bye. I've changed my password and left the boards...Too much time on here and not enough work being done.

Pretty sure he doesn't do a 9-5 as well though!
EXACTLY.
if i didn't work 9-5, then i could spend that time producing, and spend the evening with the Miss's. but for most, that aint an option.
my lady says she'll support me in anyway possible, but when it comes down to it, she can't help wanting to spend time with me, i'm HER hobby.
thats right, here's my opinion
BOYS (most) HAVE HOBBIES, GIRLS HAVE BOYS AS THEIR HOBBIES.
Did Skream not work in record shop?..I think your using the ladies as scapegoats..
Girls i can assure you have hobbies that are not boys...(can't believe i'm using the word 'hobbies')

There is something very wrong about this quote..
Get a girlfriend who is as equally as anal as yourself about making music, swap software and production tips....then you will never have to see them ever again.

It's already been said a million times and I agree -you should have other halves that do something with themselves, rather than sit their fat arses on the couch expecting to be entertained by your presence 24/7.
Society is responsible for some people thinking that they can't (don't have to) do anything other than turn up and look good. It's a Victorian attitude and that needs killing off pronto. The problem often stems from choosing partners because of their physical attributes, rather than their cerebral ones.
Either find somebody you can jive with, who has their own interests (or share yours), or encourage them to find something to do with themselves instead of being a cloying sad sack.
I'm happy because my other half is either painting, drawing or working on graphic novels when I'm busy making music. We both still have time to work full time jobs and have plenty of time to see each other. It works out perfectly.
You always have enough time, but you have to make it. I made time by killing my TV.

Damn that's hot. Comics rule.
I also just noticed when I quoted you that you indent your paragraphs. Kudos.

HA! I LOVE THIS GUY!! THERE IS A GOD...
Time waits for no man, when people have time they squander it...when they don't they use it productively. As I have said before. The woman in this thread are being made scapegoats for something else lacking. Look within.

If you have a girlfriend and you find you need more time to write music, smoke methamphetamine when she goes to bed. You'll get several free hours every night. Then when you go psychotic and turn into a skinny little meth head, she'll leave you and you'll have even more time!!! You'll probably loose your job too, which means you can write FULL TIME!!!
I'm telling you, *pulls tooth out* jibb is the answer to all of life's problems. *starts picking*

i tell you what, not having a girlfriend (and being completely sober) has allowed me to progress in terms of music immensely.
your girl just needs to understand that, if you are serious, that you are dedicated to this. just make sure you make time for her and pay attention. otherwise she'll get what she needs elsewhere, with or without your knowledge.

Yeah. I've really raised the bar on women I'll date.
In the interim, I suggest Fleshlight get together with Technics to design a new turntable.
