I'd just like to address the side that psychology isn't a hard science in society meaning that not a lot of psychopaths get checked if they are succesful in terms of our capitalist model. I dont think it has to do with moral decay as such, it's just almost welcommed or at least gets included in the model we have now that we accept.
it's not moral decay in regards to Neitzsche. he hated 'morality' and seen it as a weakening of the spirit (for want of a better word) which leads to the decadence of society i.e us producing generations that have more faults than the last.

How is it different to playing instruments in an orchestra? Making bleepy footwork? Playing in a friend's live band? Getting an actual job? Spending time doing things you enjoy?
