Suggestions for Headphones 2015

Post by LeanSound » Sun Jan 04, 2015 1:52 pm

I'm after some suggestions on some new headphones, pretty much just for mixing.
I mix dubstep and grime and don't really push into many other genres. A decent low frequency output is much needed and also, on a piratical note; headphones which can handle the constant bending during mixing!
I broke the slider/headband of my old Goldring's from that constant stress (I know they were not an ideal candidate of the job!)

Hi buddy, i use Pioneer HDJ 500s, brilliant light weight, compact and extremely good quality at an affordable price. Also good looking. Also have a friend who has just purchased some and he's very pleased with them.

(Used to be £90 when i bought them a few years back so bit of a bargain!!)

Gonna check those out too. Right now I'm stuck using my Sennheiser HD202s. Not sure how great those are

I splashed out on some Sennheiser HD600s. Been kind of blown away by them. Super detailed. Like hearing shit I never knew was in tracks and the like. However they're really high impedance and not too cheap (but still huge value for money). Not remotely suitable for djing or listening to anything outside the house
