They're crying over free speech right now, but make no mistake, they've been strangling it for more than a decade.

That's part of the reason fascist ideas are rising in France and Europe really: if people don't get a platform from the authorities to express their concerns , they'll go to Le Pen
What? Have any examples where media favour leftist policies? Because I swear it's the other way around and all I read is socialist bashing. Tbf haven't read any French news therefor I ask

It's not that farfetched imho, the mossad probably is. But it could be false flag or w/e. Wouldn't count it out,, you never know :)

the thing is, define "leftist"... the french socialist party stopped being a left wing party long ago, meanwhile actual left wing movements are being ridiculed for not being realistic enough/having outdated ideas

recent examples:
the gay marriage (pushed by the socialist government), was shoved down the throat of france despite massive protestations against it (Im not saying i agree with said protestations but still)
french policy towards israel, french socialist party is overtly pro-zionist, several peaceful protestations supporting Palestine during the bomb raids last year were forbidden on legal grounds
debate over EU and whether being in it really is beneficial to France is also silenced
and it goes on

and Le Pen is cashing in on this, the same way Farage is in UK
They're crying over free speech right now, but make no mistake, they've been strangling it for more than a decade.

It's been 24 hours, the official investigation hasn't begun yet and already people are posting their "overwhelming evidence" that the whole thing is fake/false flag. It's either the government, far-right politicians, or the Mossad. No respect...

I liked Charlie Hebdo, we used to have a subscription for years at home. I'm genuinely afraid of what the fallout of this and everything else happening right now will be to the political landscape in (West-)Europe.

what are you on about I'm just saying you shouldn't count out the possibility. If you have a go at a problem do you immediately say it can't be this can't be that? It is most likely (99%) Muslim extremism but you can never be sure until proven. That's the whole thing, there is no evidence lol, only evidence is them sshouting/saying they're from Al Quada

but don't you think it's a bit odd ppl who went to training/Syria, obviously planned the whole thing forget their ID's in the getaway car. It is probably because they work together with other extremists but you never know for sure

more power to you if you can swallow this one without even raising an eyebrow

and this has nothing to do with respect to the victims imo

this really is a sad affair, and the consequences are going to be dire, no question, but that doesn't mean we should suspend critical thinking

carrying your identification card while going to a commando terrorist attack seems a bit daft tho

Maybe it's just me, and of course, I'm only speaking for myself but regardless of my training, if I'd just shot 11 people and was making a getaway, and was abandoning a car quick time, I might drop some shit or accidentally leave some shit behind.

Other possibility: These people are fucking mentaloids who can't be counted on to think straight and get everything spot on.

you shouldnt really be carrying id cards if its blackops though

think that is the point people were making

Just because there is a chance that it's a false flag doesn't mean it is so. What pisses me off is that right now, thousands of keyboard warriors who do not have a clue about terrorrism, guns, religion, ... all of a sudden become "experts" on all those subjects. And with their expertise and knowledge it's just *so* obvious that there's something more going on. For some reason they just want to see conspiracies everywhere.

Yes, I know, there's fishy bullshit going on every level in today's world. But I'd rather wait for a full official investigation, and more factual reports before I start spewing bullshit preliminary conclusions on the internet.

My post wasn't a jab at you btw.

I was just making a joke there, I can see how it can be misunderstood tbh. I'll edit it. My point was that if I was making a quick getaway, I might lose some shit.

Which they will then completely disregard because it won't fit their view, regardless of how true it is.
