Hey there Jocks and jockettes

My name is Psyconium and I come from the beautiful land of Brisbane, Australia. I have been djing for about 4/5 years now and producing for about 1 and a half, I have fully immersed myself in this lifestyle... as music is my biggest passion, and will most likely continue to be a huge part of my life until I leave this planet. I have been playing numerous underground gigs up the east coast of Australia for the last year or so.. playing deep, dark stuff... yeah I love that dungeon sound . I also have just recently picked up a spot on SUB.FM playing fortnightly on Wednesdays (next show 24/12/2014) I would link some details, but im not sure what the rules are for this thread.. The genres I play on a regular basis are Dungeon Dub, Dubstep, Neuro Dnb, Jungle, Breaks and PsyDub with UKG, techno and chunky psytrance occasionally popping up in my sets

I would love to get to know some fellow heads, from all around the world... so please introduce yourselves to me down below!!! :t:

Hey guys,

I have been listening to dubstep and a few other sub electronic genres for a while, although only recently got into actual music production. My main inspirations are Spag Heddy, Kill the Noise, Zomboy and TeddyLoid, of which got me into the production scene in the first place.

Yeah that's it for my introduction, i kinda suck at these haha

Anyways, i hope to see you guys around!

Hello all,

Big Pauly here. The RoadDogg Of Doom.

I'm pretty new to this whole dubstep/grime/electronic what-have-you.

Professionally, I'm a roadie. Currently and for the last 8 yrs I've been guitar and bass tech for the band Chicago (get yer jokes outta the way now). At home, I've been recording and producing records for about 6 yrs at my home "studio" (basically just my MacBook Pro running Logic 9). I cut my own records too when I have the time. Right now I'm in the middle of a doom metal project, a thrash/death metal project, a punk project, a blugrass/honky-tonk/rockabilly project, and a hip hop project.

The hip hop project started when my cousin came to me sayin he wanted to do this rap song he had in his head. It quickly turned into a full-on record project. Then he comes over one day trying to describe to me this song he heard and wants to go in that direction. Turns out he meant dubstep. So I bought an MPC Studio and a MPK and am now trying to learn as much as I can about all this. I know who Skrillex is, although I don't really dig much of his stuff other than the "ragga" kinda stuff I've heard with Damian Marley. I have, however, found this dude, I think from France, Scarfinger, and have been totally loving everything I've heard from him. Other than that, I'm mostly clueless and figuring this all out as I go.

A quick google search for dubstep and sound design/production techniques led me here, and the rest is (or will be) history.

Hope to meet a buncha y'all and trade production tips, techniques and ideas here, and just generally get inspired and motivated.

Cheers!

Doom (Big Pauly)

Hello fellow dubstepians,
My name is Joshua, my producer name is Jershua. I have personally just always found a love for this genre. It provokes a primal response on top of just being fun to produce. I've been producing for just under two years now, but have little experience DJing. My strong-point is sound design, I love FM synthesis, VOCODERs, resamplings, and programming bass. I am 18 years old and I hope with hard work I could eventually start playing shows. I live in Chicago, so hopefully I could find a small venue to play. I'm sorry if I ask a lot of questions.

Hey guys, I'm Jon.
I was on the boards awhile back (before the refresh) but after lurking the boards for awhile I'm back to contribute as much as I've gotten.

Hello everyone, I've just literally signed up because I wanna meet new people who's into the same music as me and get advice and feedback.

I'm a producer myself and I make dubstep, if you could check out my soundcloud and give me feed back that would be great, also if you could follow and help me grow as a producer. thanks

Ez my name is Soze.

I've posted mostly in the dub feedback threads the few months I have been here. I get my bass face on by listening to producers like Proxima, J Kenzo and Leon Switch. :Q: I make my own beats.
