Having a mate as a boss?

Post by nobody » Thu Jan 15, 2015 10:50 am

Anyone here had that? I might switch jobs for higher pay etc, but my line manager would be a friend of mine, good idea or bad idea? could fuck up the friendship etc, but could also be lots of fun in the work place.

Depends. I'd say it's mostly on you. If you're not gonna get wound up when it comes to him having to tell you to do actual work, then I reckon it'll be fine. I ended up being my mate's boss for a bit, and it was pretty cool.
