i might do it this winter

there is a lake nearby that freezes over & holds nice panfish, a few people do go out on it

only pain in the ass is you pretty much have to make 4 or 5 holes to have any success doing it, and the only ice auger that i could buy would be a manual one ($50-100 for manual $300+ for a gas powered) i dont think id like to spend that much money on something ill only use 2 months out of the year

i came pretty close to buying one last year, but i didnt
