Could you name some rare or non-conventional objects you've used to produce?
I often used cassette recorders as instruments of music creation. Recording sounds onto tapes and then editing/manipulating them by hand to form rhythms, loops, etcetera.. a kind of crude low-tech version of sampling and sequencing sounds. I made a lot of sounds from kitchen utensils, foodstuffs, my own body parts and other people's bodily functions.

Yeah, it is just a different sound. I don't think of those old analog synths as an "old" sound, or analog/tape as an "old" sound. It is just a sound.Aufnahmewindwuschel wrote:wow yeah will have a read later looks nice btu exactly what i thought its just a dif vibe not necessarily better but def adds sth you cant really recreate to this date

I really don't know about tape versions of bleeding highs edm. I mean people that do listen to this stuff in clubs probably think the highs have to be like razorblades slashing at your ears. If you took that away, they'd be like "why doesn't the music hurt?"
I really don't know. I just want to be able to make music again. Can one of you guys come over here to hold my rack devices in place while I drill out the rack supports?

@genrl!
:3 lol hard to judge one i def like the sounds but maybe its too wonky? for my taste hm but on the other hand it does work. i personally would try to pitch the opera atleast bit more to the tune or more filtered i think thats the only part i would def do dif
lol didnt knwo this child series yeah i def hear it work
so i would say maybe pitch the sounds bit closer together and you got sth nice and wonky

personally dig this side of yours more than the instrumental hip hop beats
i am not sure about the bassdrum atm maybe a bit more real or smooth dunno maybe some tube on top
but the percs are nice
really nice melody layers and placement in the space
maybe a real low melody close to the bassline at some point but yeah really nice
def got this idm vibe planet mu warp ochre(dunno which labels hes on) etc
def finish this one and all in this style atleast for me haha

Well, you can work on it all week, you know. It is not TUNA!DAY. It's TUNA!WEEK.
But yeah, it is kind of f'ed up. But everyday is kind of f'ed up. Usually it goes to a western American Sunday, so that is like a Tuesday for you.
