Burial samples

Post by JamesHanvey » Wed Jan 28, 2015 5:42 pm

Just stumbled upon these, quite interesting to see where he gets his stuff from. Didn't realize so much was sampled.

last time he gave any indication about his process, he seemed to say everything was sampled.

He doesn't use synths. Maybe he does on later stuff like kindred EP and there on, but the two albums and everything before I`m pretty sure is 100% samples

i think i asked about his bass sound a while ago and someone on here said he sampled the reese sound straight out of the original tune (think its a house/techno one really can't remember)

All has drums sound very obviously sampled straight from old 90s garage tunes
