i bought a new rod to go w/ my finesse spinning reel

problem is the rod & reel are unbalanced so i need to add a lot of weight (2 1/2 oz) to the back of it to make it balanced

not only does this make the rod heavier which kind of sucks (especially for a finesse rod) but now i have to put an ugly butt end on my nice cork rod handle

also the tip is not as fast as i was hoping it would be
