64-bit VST not showing up in Ableton Live 9 64-bit

Post by Venix » Tue Feb 03, 2015 6:24 am

This is doing my head in! I recently upgraded os from windows 7 64-bit to windows 8.1 64-bit for reasons. So, instead of re-downloading from the store (slow and painful internet) I decided to copy it over instead. So I boot up ableton and made a custom VST folder and such. All the plugins were 64-bit yet ableton just won't recognize them. So I went straight to jBridger because it work bridging a 64-bit plugin to 64-bit for no reason. Anyways I'm fed up jBridger always crashing 5 minutes into a project. So, just wondering whats the deal with ableton not recognizing the already 64-bit plugin?
