We're really going far afield here, but my daughter farted the most amazing fart the other day. It had two tones and they were like a fifth apart. Like actually musical. There was a slight filter sweep on them. I seriously, seriously wish I could have sampled it.
Such analog warmth.
For me, right now, it is like Song of the Blue Whales. Meeeeooooooooowwwwwwwwuuuuuummmmmmmmmmgggggggglllllllluuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr.
Seriously though, where is that mouse? Saw it a few days ago. Unpacked it and then lost it.
So....I probably would have just bought a new mouse...b/c I'm a lazy Murican...
Also...I ALMOST bought a Zoom Q4 for this new project I'm starting...but...decided to buy a tripod for my SmartPhone....and waiting on the Q8 to come to Zzounds so I can get it on the 4 payment plan.

Big up on the creative vibe.
I was about to click buy on the Q4 and thought...so its a fixed lens (no zoom)...has a good mic...as a stereo audio input...can drag and drop videos off of it. Then I realized my Galaxy S3 was all of these things minus the audio input. I have a good general purpose microphone, I have a field recorder, I can easily capture all the good audio I want...if I just use a a couple seconds of kick drum or something percussive at the beginning of the video and audio lining up the timing on the two should be cake.
Why pay 300 dollars for an audio input?

But a dedicated video camera/dslr is going to produce MUCH better quality video. But whatever, do what you've got to do.
When I was doing these ghetto three camera shoots, I'd use a nikon dslr, an ipad, and an iphone. The nikon looked good, the ipad looked okay, the iphone looked pretty crappy. Cutting between them was pretty obvious, like the video quality would drop.
But we can't have everything we want all the time, amiright??

Fair points. And maybe I'll decide I want a good camera to do this. But until the real user reviews of the Q8 start coming in seems ideal to wait...at the moment a new Q4 is only a hundred dollars less than a new Q8.
Nah. Can't have everything. Wouldn't want everything. Wouldn't know what to do with it. Also, I don't mind a bit of a DIY aesthetic w/ some less than ideal video...despite my recent rant about recorded audio quality.
