na thats not quit the tempa face.

im generally quite saddened by the design in the scene. everyome goes for the clean typographic solution at best or the cheesy as fuck drum and bass look at worst.
ive said it before and im gonna say it again:
WHERE THE SUPERSTRUCTURES AT ?!

I dunno man i quite rate a fair bit of it. I like tempa's stuff, simple but well effective. Quite slick, quite right for the vibe of a lot of those tunes. And i love the dmz design ethic, just raw as you like, no frills. Looks like a weighty soundsystem turned into typeface! Much prefer those to most artwork around. Granted a lot of electronica artwork smacks it, designers republic especially, but it must put costs up a lot to have full art for sleeves. But then there are some labels I dont like the style of very much, but then i guess thats down to taste more than anything

Can you do better with web fonts and the forum's formatting tools? ;)

The Tempa logo is Arial Black, italic with heavy negative kerning, or a slight variation thereof.

But I generally like the look of dubstep design. Nothing too codified yet and it's much nicer than most of the grime stuff which is often all pixel-y.

i'm always looking for a good designer, but am well fussy. no graf/designers republic/electronica/new school d&b clones required.
