Can anyone point me in direction of some worthy classic/oldschool grime and garage labels, I'd really like to do some online digging but I don't know where to start. With garage I mean the darker stuff obviously.
I usually like finding new music thru discogs. So here are a few labels to start with I suppose. Then just find more labels by looking at other labels artists have released on.
Keep in mind that with grime, they didn't really have "labels" to a certain extent the same way there are now in dubstep. ie some of these labels on discogs weren't really labels. they're just like made up labels for purposes of making things organized (eg Wiley Kat Records)

Ishan Sound EP (PengSound006)
??? - Praise (TheMostHigh001)
Michael Prophet - Youthman/Version (JG038)
Max Romeo - I Chase the Devil/Version (CD002)
Ninjasonik - Somebody Gonna Get Pregnant (PRGRCRDS)
I think it sounds alright but not worth it for a single sided record, this weeks top seller on redeye so obviously the white label/ one person person hype is working.
