Re: Fat pride thread
Yes - I wasn't healing after workouts…
..in addition to other problems
- mysterious all over body stiffness - debilitating migraines - bizarre allergic responses
...and they found that I had unnaturally low levels of vitamin d,
probably a result of being a bad vegetarian for 7-8 years…
I haven't had a migraine since starting treatment.
I'm on the last phase of testing to see if my levels will hold up.
My left knee is toast though - I blew that fucking around on a bike designed for a 12 year old.

I'm not picking on you either, I spent my whole life trynna put weight on.
It's happened in my 30's and I get a massive gut but I'm currently turning that it henchness.

swimming wouldnt fuck up your knee and I find it hard to believe that exertion is the only cause of your migraines. post workout stiffness is natural. and an allergic response to excercise GTFOH!

whooaaa whooaaaa Butterman!!! - You're not making any sense….
I wasn't saying exercise was giving me all that….
I was saying that I was experiencing problems -
that were interfering with my ability to do normal physical activities…
It was a vitamin d deficiency - that spirals into calcium, potassium, and salt disorders…
I am healing now - but I can't go full on yet…

sheeeeeeeeeeeee-it. I get migraines too. not all the time though otherwise I wouldnt be able to be staring at a screen like I am now, and like you are too. and has these problems been the case you're whole adult life?
If not, then what was your excuse, I mean reason before because therein lies your answer and should have been your first response, like 'I'm not physically able to do excercise instead of a last ditch attempt to not have some of the responsibility fall on you.

Re: Fat pride thread
I had a health crisis…all at once - It started with an unusual sickness Jan 2007…I was 35
and I finally landed in the hospital in Apr 2008...
Before that I was going full on non-stop - no problems - never had a problem…
We managed the symptoms for a # of years
and I've spent the past 2 years doing the diagnostic thing…
Went to a neurologist - did every possible test - got cleared by him…
After neurologist is rheumatologist - that's where we found the problem. or a problem.

Re: Fat pride thread
What probably happened - is that after 7-8ish years -
Of being a bad vegetarian….I had depleted my body to a breaking point
- and I started eating meat again - intentionally
right @ the time I stared to experience the crisis
because I somehow - intuitively knew - that it was connected to my BAD DIET.
I was a vegetarian not because I wanted to be healthy…
I was a vegetarian because I didn't like killing animals.
So I ate big macs with no meat.
Yes, it is all probably my fault.

Re: Fat pride thread
I gained 40 lbs the first month that I started eating meat again…
and another 20 by the end of that year.
My body just power stored every bit that I ate.
My entire existence was exercise - I worked at Amazon.com for 5 years…
We walked 11-15 miles a day - plus bending, lifting, pushing 40+ lbs regularly.
I was hauling around pallet jacks for 12 hours a day and unloading semi-trucks.
so yes I was exercising - and I was also eating donuts without a care in the world.
and vanilla-mocha lattes...

Re: Fat pride thread
I was working 12 hour shifts - and you don't stop moving from the time you hit the door…
I'm not saying it was properly executed exercise…
It was repetitive - work oriented movements…
When I worked at PPG - all I did was lift rear car windshields
from one carrier to another for 8 hours a day - non-stop…
I was there for 8 months…
before that I was merchandising at Pier 1 Import…
so I unloaded 25-30 ft trucks of furniture and ceramic vases and dinnerware and candles
twice a week - then cracked all the boxes and made the stuff hit the shelves…
and yes 3 people did that - and I was 1 of the 3.
So have I ever had the luxury of going to a gym in my little yoga pants for 4 hours...
to do proper squats with a trainer holding my back straight - no.
Can I carry a full sized rattan sette by myself, yes.
I can tie it to the roof of your car as well…without a scratch.
Ive been like, a Finnish dock worker. with all the rastas….lol
ya dun kno….

Re: Fat pride thread
half an hour run every other day would of toned up that booty.
im no excerpert but the jog would do good for those hidden cream cheese calories that weren't getting converted into hench shoulders. when you run it works out loadsa spots, same with swimming. All that dock lifting would of done wonders for your upper body strength, not so for the lower half.
like I said Im not an expert.

hahahhhaaa….
the video was sailing - world cup sailing
this is a very recent pic of me…strong shoulder/arms but with a supporting layer of fat…
bubble butt unfortunately balanced with a bubble gut…
swimming helps a lot - leanifying - helps limit water retention…good on the joints

running errr - I'm gonna try $300 worth of fruit a week….

I'm just trying to convince you I'm not some slobby lazy whiney girl…
I handle stuff, but I'm big…
I've never sat behind a desk answering telephones with my fresh manicure…
and I will never - never, ever - be this girl…
