I have never had any monitor speakers before so am a total noob. I just want to know if I can get a L/R phono rca outs from my shitty audio interface into these speakers?
They have a:
* TRS Input – This ¼” input
* XLR Input balanced
It might seem an abvious question but there is only one of the above connections, so I suppose my question is can you get a L/R phono >>> TRS or XLR that maintains the stereo?
Cheers.

Yeah just get a RCA L/R > XLR L/R cable.
I have my RCA out interface connected to a mixer with the same cable and the speakers
are connected to the mixer.

Re: Alesis M1 520- Monitors
thanks for the info.
I always thought that monitor speaker had all the inputs on one speaker then have a cable from 1 speaker to the other. But bizzarelyfrom pics on google I think that these speakers have identical and even each have their own power cable. It doesn't help that there are no pictures of both units from behind on their official website. ?

I've never heard of that myself. Active loudspeakers all have their own power supply
and inputs.
and inputs.
