i am way better at mixing dnb (and also to a lesser extent jungle) than dubstep and only started couple weeks back

been trying to mix halfstep for time and i'm lousy at it and it's like most obvious beat lool

The 8 or so dnb records I have all have like 2 minute intros and I don't know if they share the same bar structure or not, but on the occasions when I mix them it sometimes sounds so hard

The first two friends suggestions facebook is giving me right now are a girl I'm seeing right now and a girl I once had a one night stand with. I've never had any contact with either of them on facebook. It's kinda creepy how it knows stuff like that.

Probably because of WhatsApp. Or really any contact through an Android phone.

Never used Whatsapp, and last Android phone I had was maybe two years ago. The current girl is also an iPhone user, so that's not it. Although I guess it's probably about as invasive on iOS. I'm thinking maybe they're doing some kind of location based matching? On top of all the other crazy things their algorithm's got going

I have mutual friends with both of them - like ten or so for the first and just one for the other. But some of the other people on the recommended friends list are people with whom I have like 70+ friends in common, and they don't pop up as the first people recommended at all. So clearly there is something else going on as well. I'm gonna chalk it up to a creepy combination of their algorithm and chance, but it still freaked me out like hell

Tbf people I've never heard of who I have like 1 mutual friend with have been recommended over people I actually know
