i think a large reason why is because the historical price is so low - average selling price of $13 and never been bought for more than $27 (obviously because of the represses), but people think it's worth way more so nobody wants to list theirs. a few weeks ago there were a few listed for like $80-90. and likewise no one wants to buy a record for $80 which has an average selling price of $13.

has anyone noticed how much the euro has depreciated lately btw? germany's gotta be my favorite country to buy things from. shipping soooo cheap

that's not just because of the euro, but because basically all other countries have completely fucked shipping prices. like 20 dollars for a single 12, are you fucking kidding me? i can ship a record for 3,50 to the states. even our european neighbours (switzerland, netherlands, ...) are taking the piss.

that's definitely true, and i think most discogs sellers just wanna make up for the discogs fee so they jack the shipping cost up and since everyone does it, it doesn't look suspicious. even german sellers are usually 8-10 euros, and that's CHEAP.

but aside from that i have noticed that the euro has depreciated quite a bit recently. a 50 euro record used to be like $70, now it's literally $52.91

Switzerland is getting screwed over by the EU. try shipping shit from Belgium etc. to S'land and it'll always be in the same shipping category as Georgia and Cyprus even though that makes 0 sense.

is shipping to switzerland really more expensive? 10-12 euros is pretty standard for shipping from belgium or netherlands to germany. that's the good thing about german post: for international it's always the same, doesn't matter if it's to poland, the us or japan.

on topic:
just listening to my new order that just came in.
Biome - Serenity EP is really great. good to hear biome making some cool tunes again after that [enter d-word] stuff got pretty stale (not his fault). still a badman producer. :Q:

£7 from a small record store in London, you can grab it from discogs for £6.
